Wi-Fi Irrigation Controllers

Wi-Fi Irrigation Controllers are an upgrade to standard mains controllers. Not only do they switch solenoids and pumps on and off, just as basic mains controllers do, they also are able to connect to manufacturer’s weather data on the internet. By doing so, they can delay, decrease, stop or increase watering based on your local weather. Manufacturers usually have a name for these Wi-Fi weather features. The Hunter version is called ‘Hydrawise’. The Orbit version is called ‘B-Hyve’. Most Wi-Fi controllers are also able to be programmed and triggered via bluetooth on an appropriate smartphone app.
