Geka Couplings

Geka (pronounced GEE-KER) fittings are made by GEKA-KARASTO in Stuttgart, Germany. They are essentially a heavier duty and more reliable version of click fittings. Rather than click together, they simply twist and clamp together.

Often used professionally by golf courses, sports grounds and by larger residences, the fact that they have internal bores ranging from half an inch to an inch and a half allows them to be used with higher capacity hoses.

They can of course be used in domestic residences, and with standard garden hose (which is half an inch in bore) as an alternative to click fittings, with the advantage that connections will remain firm under almost any circumstances.
